Get Involved Today!

Government by the people works best when everyone has some skin in the game and knows it. Citizens can affect change for the greater good if they actively participate in our democratic society.

With our “See, Say, Do” community culture at I Heart Downtown Seattle, we volunteer in unique ways for a clean, safe, and sheltered Seattle.

Our pragmatic approach takes on a variety of strategies to clean up trash, remove graffiti, beautify open spaces, and engage with city and state leadership using direct action to uncover opportunities for improvement.

We are always looking to expand our friendly group of volunteers to join our litter pickups and beautification, and we also currently have openings for High Impact Volunteers to fill key open roles with We Heart Seattle.

Seattle Cleanup

Volunteer litter picking on city streets and in parks has opened our eyes to unenforced illegal dumping, a mismanaged needle exchange program, and inequities where lawlessness has impacted our most marginalized citizens.
